I was born and raised up in a very godly, Christian home. My life revolved around the Church and activities of the Church. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior at the age of 12 in Sunday School. In one of the VBS camp, I was deeply touched by the missionary stories and at the age of 13, I committed my life to be a missionary.
After completing my bachelors degree B.Sc in life sciences, in Mount Carmel College, Bangalore, I pursued my masters degree M.Sc in Zoology from the Bangalore university, followed by bachelors degree in education B.Ed.
On completion of my education, I initially worked for VBS office, writing curriculum for different age groups. Later I joined Mc Millan India Limited, a book publishing company and worked as an editor for 3 years. It was during this time that the Lord called me into full time ministry in 1989. I resigned my job and joined FGAG and headed the School of Christian Growth and also the Christian Education department of the Church.
Due to a series of illness, I had to take a break from the ministry. I was paralyzed from neck down to my feet and suffered a setback in my health. I was confined to the house for 7 years but the Lord healed me miraculously and raised me from my death bed almost 3 times. I was drawn closer to the Lord during this period and in a vision the Lord revealed to me that He had chosen me to be a missionary to the Buddhist and Communist countries of South East Asia. To equip myself for this calling, I completed my Master of Divinity.
I joined Jubilee Revival AG Church, which has been my spiritual and maturing ground into full time ministry. Jubilee Revival AG Church has helped me to build my self esteem and also been a source of inspiration in re- orienting my spiritual priorities and has drawn me closer to the Lord. The ambience in JRAG has always fostered my motivation to serve God.
I have been blessed with a wonderful husband – John Samuel who in obedience to the Lord resigned his central government job to support me in the ministry. Together we have been travelling, preaching and teaching the Word in over 14 South East Asian countries.
Its my desire to fulfill my calling and complete the assignment given by God to reach out to unreached areas and to equip believers thru discipleship and be obedient to the great commission.
